Every now and again when I feel like a little pick-me-up, I go into Lush and behave as if I am a contestant on Supermarket Sweep. If it catches my eye and smells nice then chances are it will be in my basket ready to come home with me. It is so easy to spend a hell of a lot of money in there, especially when it comes to different holiday periods throughout the year. Who can resist a cute little heart-shaped bath bomb at Valentine's Day?? During my most recent little spending spree I bought this little beauty, the Lush Creamy Candy Bubble Bar.
About the Lush Creamy Candy Bubble Bar:
"If you'd normally reach for a sweet treat to lift your mood, this bubble bar does just the job. Its sweet candy floss smell raises your energy levels and perks you up. It also offers extra moisturisation than the average bubble bar as it has a blend of almond and cocoa butter. Creamy Candy contains almond oil and butter chunks that melt onto the surface of the water, giving skin a velvety texture."
I was originally drawn to the Lush Creamy Candy Bubble Bar because of its look but I bought it because of its smell. It smells very similar to the Snow Fairy Shower Gel and that in itself makes it an immediate purchase for me! I tend not to buy too many Bubble Bars from Lush as I seem to always veer towards the Bath Bombs as I love the performance and the surprise of what will happen when the product hits hot water whereas there isn't too much anticipation with Bubble Bars, although they do still smell gorgeous - especially this one.
Bubble Bars are great because you can get about two or three uses out of one little bar, making them more value for money in comparison to the Bath Bombs. When the Creamy Candy Bubble Bar meets hot water, it immediately dissolves leaving the water a hot pink shade with lots of relaxing bubbles floating on the surface. What's even better is that the bathroom is then filled with the sweet smell of heavenly candy floss. It leaves the skin feeling really soft after use due to the cocoa butter formula and best of all you don't need to clean the bath out afterwards!
