Review | Liz Earle Superskin Concentrate for Night

This is perhaps my favourite Liz Earle product and that in itself is a rather bold statement. Move over Hot Cloth Cleanser, the Liz Earle Superskin Concentrate for Night is coming through! Before recently, I had never even heard of this product, let alone had any clue as to what its benefits were. When I bought the Liz Earle Daily Rituals Set on Boxing Day, this little beauty was inside and I have loved it ever since. In the short time I have been using it I have noticed a real change in my skin so what more can I ask for?

About the Liz Earle Superskin Concentrate For Night:
"Apply this luxurious facial oil before bedtime to visibly plump and smooth mature or very dry skin, or balance combination skin by morning. Soothing pure essential oils of neroli, lavender and chamomile also help aid a peaceful night’s sleep. Use Superskin Concentrate at night-time either before, or instead of applying your moisturiser."

The Liz Earle Superskin Concentrate for Night comes in 4 different sizes, 3 of which come in pump form and one that comes in rollerball form, which I have. I much prefer having it in rollerball form as it means you can be really precise with application rather than spraying it at your face and hoping for the best. The concentrate itself smells absolutely beautiful. Because it is the night-time version, it smells incredibly calming and very much of lavender, making it an aid to help get a good nights sleep. I apply this just before I get into bed and the smell lingers on the skin for a little while, making it the last thing I smell before I drift off into a land of my own.

.When it comes to application, I apply it after I have cleansed and toned, then I run the rollerball underneath my eyes, across my forehead and on my cheeks. I apply it underneath the eyes to smooth and soften the delicate skin there and I apply it across my forehead and onto my cheeks as this is where my skin is the driest. The consistency and texture of the Superskin Concentrate is that of oil but it does not make the skin feel oily or greasy, something which I was worried about as I am prone to oily skin. After I have applied the concentrate, I then gently rub it in and hop into bed, ready to let it do its magic. The next morning my skin is softer and plumper than before and I have already noticed a big difference in my skin. I have really dry and stubborn skin on my cheeks and nothing has really helped it but this Liz Earle Superskin Concentrate has really helped ease the dryness and I think the more I continue to use it, the better my skin will become.

I am utterly in love with this little Liz Earle Superskin Concentrate for Night, and I much prefer it to the Elizabeth Arden 8 Hour Cream Oil which I found didn't really help to ease my skincare troubles. This concentrate smells amazing, it completely relaxes me before bedtime and it really smoothes and plumps up the skin whilst helping to soften the dry patches on my cheeks. I absolutely love this product and it is definitely worth a look at the next time you pass a Liz Earle counter!

  1. I love the packaging on this and the fact it has argan oil in, I love argan oil products! I've not tried this but I do have the Liz Earl cleanser, I have oily skin so this may not be the best for me

  2. This sounds gorgeous for dry skin, I have combination skin so might be worth a whirl for me as well. I have never tried anything from Liz Earle but know they are a highly rated skincare brand, I will definitely add this to my list of things to try. Thank you for sharing, hope you'll stop by my blog when you get the chance xxx
