Oh my goodness. Never have I wanted something as much as I did this product. Boy, is it hard to get hold of. I joined every waiting list possible in order to get one of the Anastasia Beverly Hills Modern Renaissance Eyeshadow Palette's and the waiting finally paid off. At 3:55 am one morning I happened to be awake, glanced at my phone and saw I had an email from Sephora saying the palette was back in stock. Hurriedly, I logged in, added 3 to my basket, went to pay before realising they wanted me to pay nearly £60 in shipping fees. Errrr, no. I mean, I wanted it, just not that badly.
Fast forward to last week when one afternoon I received an email from Cult Beauty telling me the palette was back in stock and I was on that website faster than I could even type it into Safari. You can only buy one palette per order so I cheekily made another couple of accounts in order to get 3. I know it is naughty but I promise I haven't bought them in order to flog them on eBay or Depop for triple the price - oh no. One is for me, one is a gift for someone else and one is a gift...for you.
About the Anastasia Beverly Hills Modern Renaissance Eyeshadow Palette:
"Quite possibly the most-coveted Anastasia Beverly Hills eyeshadow palette yet, Modern Renaissance features 14, highly-pigmented powders in a rainbow of pinks, taupes and berries. With 11 matte and 3 metallic shadows, alongside a dual-ended soft bristle brush for seamless application and diffusion, the versatile palette is a thing of beauty and a joy to use - perfecting for creating an array of day-to-evening make up looks."
The Anastasia Beverly Hills Modern Renaissance Palette is utterly beautiful. What first drew me to this eyeshadow palette was the berry and burnt orange shades; Love Letter, Venetian Red, Red Ochre and Bealgar are the shades I was most excited to try out. I haven't used my palette properly yet but I can firmly say that all of the shades are incredibly pigmented and all of the shades within the palette compliment each other perfectly. I can also honestly say that there isn't a shade within this palette which I wouldn't use. Usually there is one or two rogue shades which are shoved in purely to make up the numbers but not in this instance - I will quite happily use each of the 14 colours included. I am really looking forward to using this palette, especially in hope to try and recreate a few of the ABH Modern Renaissance Palette looks I have seen on Pinterest!
Now, onto the fun bit - how one of you can win one! The giveaway is fairly straight forward, just enter your details in the widget below. Please don't be a sneaky sneak and not fill your details in properly, I do check ;)
I can't believe it came up to blood £60 in fees!! So glad you didn't go ahead with it through Sephora - such a rip off! I recently ordered some things off Colourpop when they had a free worldwide shipping offer and ended up paying £18 custom fees 😫!!!
