Review | Victoria's Secret Noir Tease Eau de Parfum

With an old post declaring my love for Victoria's Secret perfumes and fragrances, it is no wonder that my collection of all things VS is ever growing. The Bombshell perfume is definitely one of my all time favourite scents and I am yet to find a body mist that I don't like. A recent trip to my nearest Victoria's Secret store with a £25 gift card in tow was a very exciting prospect and I knew I wanted to get another perfume. After smelling each one twice, I decided on either the Victoria's Secret Noir Tease perfume or the Victoria's Secret Heavenly Perfume. Completely torn between the two, I asked to purchase both and sadly my choice was made for me - both were completely sold out - typical!

Fast forward to last week when I found one of them in TKMaxx for less than half the price in the VS store. Yeap, it was in TKMaxx! How could I possibly refuse?! Available in two sizes in the Victoria's Secret store, either 50 ml or 100 ml, I bought the Victoria's Secret Noir Tease Eau de Parfum in a 50 ml bottle for £24.99, which is a hell of a lot nicer on the bank balance than the original £47.99 I was going to pay for the same sized bottle.

About the Victoria's Secret Noir Tease Eau de Parfum:
"The ultimate flirt: seductress meets coquette in this boudoir-inspired fragrance with a touch of lace, fishnet and a hot pink atomizer. Fragrance type: Warm. Notes: Black vanilla, frozen pear and blooming gardenia. Includes twist-on cap for traveling."

Let's immediately talk about the bottle. I can see why it would not be to everyone's tastes but I do think it en captures Victoria's Secret as a whole brand in one perfume packaging. It certainly stands out on the shelf, that's for sure! When you first open the box and find the perfume within, the pump isn't intact with the bottle and instead there is a plain black twist-on cap which is suitable for travel. I immediately put the pump together with the bottle and found that the box then became useless as the pump and the lace netting is so big that it doesn't fit back in the box. This isn't much of a big deal and I suppose this is why you get given a travel cap but I don't see why they just didn't make a bigger box for it to save the hassle of it all.

This is the first perfume I have owned which has the old-school atomizer to release the product with. When I see these types of perfume bottles, I immediately think of old Hollywood films with glamorous ladies in their boudoir's spritzing perfume all of themselves glamourously. Whilst I don't have the same poise and grace as those ladies, it is quite the novelty using the hot pink pump to release the product with. I find that it works just as well as the push-down perfume top we are all used to, although I do think the hole the product comes out from is slightly smaller than usual.

The Victoria's Secret Noir Tease Perfume smells absolutely divine. Whilst I find it very hard to describe scents, I would say this wasn't a light scent, nor is it a deep, night time scent either. It smells a mixture between floral/musk without being overpowering, sweet or nauseating. I have worn it for a few days now and each time I have been complimented on it which is rather flattering. Someone asked me if it was the Juicy Couture Viva La Juicy Perfume so if you like that then you may like this too. The bottle definitely en captures the scent perfectly.

The next time you are in a Victoria's Secret store then you definitely need to sample this perfume. It smells so wonderful, although you may just have to take my word for it! I think we have learnt two things from this post - one, Victoria's Secret continue to produce wonderful scents and two, your local TKMaxx store may be selling your favourite perfumes for half the price so get down there!

    1. It smells lovely and the bottle looks pretty too! x

  4. This is one of my favourite fragrances & somewhat underrated in my opinion. As much as I love it the price does put me off somewhat, I'll definitely have to start scouring the shelves of TK Maxx - what a bargain!

    1. I was so shocked to find it in TKMaxx, especially since I was willing to pay double the price for the same bottle! x
