Review // L'oreal Paris Skin Perfection Soothing Gel-Cream Wash

Does anyone have an 'in-shower' skincare routine which is completely different to the usual morning or evening routine? I do. This is purely down to which products are closest to hand whilst showering as I can't say I use them outside of the shower. One of the skincare products I use 'in-shower' is the L'oreal Paris Skin Perfection Soothing Gel-Cream Wash which, actually, deserves to be used outside of the bathtub as well as inside of it.

About the L'oreal Skin Perfection Soothing Gel-Cream Wash:
"L'oreal Paris Skin Perfecting Cleansers are designed for dry and sensitive skin. They are proven to remove make-up, impurities and reveal a better texture. The rich gel-cream texture removes impurities and smooths skin whilst revealing silky soft skin."

This facial wash ticks all of the boxes. Firstly I love the pretty pink packaging with the pink pearlescent accent on the bottle. It is definitely noticeable on my bathroom shelf whilst I am trying to see through the misty haze which is confined to my bathroom. This pink pearlescent shade is also transferred onto the product itself which is really creamy in texture whilst remaining lightweight in consistency. I dampen my face slightly before squeezing a 10p sized amount into my hand then massaging it into the skin. It lathers up nicely and feels really creamy and nourishing on the skin, the perfect facial wash!

It doesn't have a detectable scent to it, not one that I notice anyway. It also doesn't leave you with that horrible tightness to the face like some facial products have a habit of doing which again, is a massive plus. There's not too much else to say about it really, other than it does the job and it does the job well. It cleans the skin and freshens it up - as facial washes go, you can't expect any more than that!

Out of curiosity, does anyone else have a different skincare routine from when they are in the shower or is it just me?!

  1. Yea, I love this cleaner. I use it every night to wash away the stresses of the day and it smells simple and carefree. Of course those are appropriate terms to describe a sent ;) ♡♡
