Review // Bath and Body Works New York Beautiful Day 3-Wick Candle

If you were to pick up a candle that is named after one of your favourite cities, New York, what would expect it to smell like? I wondered this as I walked around Bath and Body Works recently. They had multiple shelves dedicated to candles named after and inspired by cities such as Paris, Venice, London.. London was the first candle I picked up and I expected it to smell like dashed dreams, hot and sweaty commuters and smoke from all of the pollution. Unsurprisingly, Bath and Body Works hadn't quite managed to incorporate that into a candle. Instead, it smells like tea and lemons. I can see where they are coming from with the tea but lemons? I wasn't a fan. I put the London candle down and quickly picked up the Bath and Body Works New York Beautiful Day 3-Wick Candle which I can confirm smells nothing like New York but it does smell lovely all the same!

About the Bath and Body Works New York Beautiful Day Candle:
"Experience the perfect spring day in New York City with sun-kissed apple, daisies and pink peonies."

I adore the smell of this candle and bought it purely to burn in the spring/summer time. It smells so light and fresh without being too overpowering. It is the perfect Spring scent! I have had a little Google and it turns out that Beautiful Day has been out in many different forms over the last couple of years, from home care to body care so it is a scent that has a massive following. As I don't live in a country that has Bath and Body Works stores, I am not familiar with the scent of it but I can definitely see why it is so popular.

If you ever find yourself in Bath and Body Works then I definitely recommend picking up the New York Beautiful Day candle and giving it a little smell. I have a good few Bath and Body Works candles now, most of which are the Autumnal scents, but I definitely think this scent is my favourite out the bunch! You can get the majority of your favourite scented Bath and Body Works candles in a few different sizes, with the 3-wick candle being the largest size they offer. It costs $22.50 but you do get between 25 - 45 hours of burn time so you can burn it to your hearts content.

  1. I wouldn't have bee a fan of the London one either - citrus scents are not my pal! The New York scent sounds amazing, I love the idea of it having daisies in
