Review // MUA Professional Eyeshadow Palette in Undress Me Too

Do you ever find a make-up product that just magically appears one day and you have no idea how it got there? This product is one of those for me. I found it recently whilst going through my make-up box and was surprised that not only had I not opened it but at how pretty it is. Why have I not opened this and used it before?

I am a massive fan of the MUA Heaven & Earth Eyeshadow Palette. So much in fact that I have hit pan on nearly every eyeshadow within the palette - something which is so incredibly rare when you have a 12 shadow palette. There is usually a couple of rogue shades that you know you will never use which get forgotten about but nope, not with the famous Heaven & Earth Palette. The palette I am going to tell you about today is another MUA Palette but this time it is the MUA Professional Eyeshadow Palette in Undress Me Too. And once again, it's a good-un.

About the MUA Professional Eyeshadow Palette in Undress Me Too:
"Undress Me Too Palette embraces a fresh-faced look and urges you to strip back and go for a natural finish! Made up of 12 warm and timeless shades, this palette will suit all skin tones and occasions."

Just like the Heaven & Earth Palette from MUA, Undress Me Too is also considered a dupe from an Urban Decay Eyeshadow Palette with some believing Undress Me Too is similar to the Naked 2 Palette from Urban Decay. Whilst I have never tried a Naked Palette I can't say if this is true or not but what I do know is that when I have these palettes, I don't feel the need to splash out on the Urban Decay original.

Firstly, it is a cheap product, therefore the packaging is cheap too. It's very plastic-y and not very sturdy. I know we would all hate to drop our make-up but I would think that if I were to drop this palette, it wouldn't make it in one piece! Included within the palette, as well as 3 matte shades and 9 shimmer shades, is a little double ended sponge eyeshadow brush. Does anyone use those? I guess they are handy to have, just in case of vital emergencies, but I wouldn't usually bother with them.

Like the MUA Heaven & Earth Palette, I also love each shade within the Undress Me Too Palette. Each shadow has its own name which makes it handy when trying to determine which shade is which and so far my favourite shades are Exposed and Reveal, the two grey based shades on the bottom row. I have worn Reveal, the third shade in from the left, the most since discovering this palette and it is so beautiful. It's a wonderful taupey grey shade with a beautiful silver shimmer running throughout which looks great on its own, as well as with Exposed running through the crease on top.

Each shade is incredibly pigmented, soft and very blendable which makes them easy to apply as well as blending with other shades. They do have some fall out when applying but I can look past that as MAC eyeshadows do exactly the same. I always apply my eyeshadows with the MAC Paint Pot in Painterly as a base and as always, when using Painterly it makes each and every eyeshadow last all day long without creasing or wearing.

Once again, I am very much in love with a palette from MUA. The Undress Me Too Palette is full of wearable, everyday eyeshadows with matte and shimmer finishes. They are blendable, easy to apply and incredibly pigmented. Best of all? The palette costs just £4.

  1. Great review! I'm crazy for both, neutral eyeshadows and bargains like this one so now I def gotta give it a try Xx

  2. Looks really pretty, very nice Colors!

  3. It looks soo pretty, I've been thinking about trying it, but had concerns about the pigmentation and how long-lasting it is. I will give it a try :) Thanks for the great review

  4. this palette looks lovely! i've never tried an MUA palette, only their individual eyeshadows! lovely post:)xx

  5. This was the first eyeshadow palette that I ever bought and I still love it today! My favourite shade from this palette is the dark bronze shade on the top right hand, as its the perfect shade for when you're in a rush in the morning, but you still want to look like you've made an effort, as it's dark but not too dark for all over the lid! great post 😀
