Review // Makeup Revolution Vivid Baked Highlighter in Peach Lights

All the way back in November I found myself staring at the Makeup Revolution stand in Superdrug and became transfixed with their range of highlighters. I have been a massive fan of using highlighters ever since my beloved Collection 2000 Face & Body Illuminator in Maldives which I have searched high and low for ever since but to no avail. Since then I have searched high and low for a drugstore make-up product that matches up to my favourite highlighter stick and I am so happy that I have finally found a brand which can match up to it but in powder form.

I recently reviewed the Makeup Revolution Vivid Baked Highlighter in Golden Lights which is a beautiful off-white highlight with a lovely shimmer running throughout. I wear Golden Lights nearly every day and as I love it so much, I decided I needed to try a different shade from the range. Makeup Revolution Vivid Baked Highlighter in Peach Lights is a wonderful peachy pink shade with really fine silver shimmer running throughout. Once again I expected the texture of this highlighter to be quite gritty but fortunately it is really smooth to the touch and not chalky at all.

One swipe with a fan brush on top of the cheekbones is plenty to achieve a beautiful, peachy highlight. It applies like a dream and whilst one swipe of product will allow you to achieve a healthy glow, it can quite easily be built up to a stronger, more intense shine. The powder is so pigmented and intense that a very little goes a long way which means that this 7.5g pan will last you a hell of a long time. Peach Lights stays put all day long without wearing or transferring and best of all - no fallout whatsoever!

For £3, I cannot speak highly of this product. It is a beautiful, soft powder highlight that is easy to build up to a stronger shimmer if you so desired. For three measly pounds you get a massive 7.5g of product which is guaranteed to last you a very long time, especially as a little goes a long way. One small little niggle is the packaging. I really would not want to drop this product as I imagine it will all end in tears! Whilst I wouldn't say it was flimsy, it does feel slightly cheap but as the product is so god damn good, I think we can let that go! Once again, Makeup Revolution has managed to create a beautiful in-expensive highlighter that is definitely a must-have.
