Review // Lush Yog Nog Bath Bomb

I hope you all aren't tiring of reading my Christmas Lush bath product reviews in February. I suppose this is a lesson for me - don't buy so many Christmas products! I bought so many that I could probably become a Lush stockist myself. Although, I imagine there are worst items to hoard.

The latest Lush Christmas product I have tried out is another bath bomb, this time the Lush Yog Nog Bath Bomb. Whilst it doesn't appear too festive in its immediate appearance, Yog Nog is probably the most festive scented out of the bunch I have tried so far.

About the Lush Yog Nog Bath Bomb:
"Sweeter than dipping into the cookie jar, the luxurious bomb is sure to warm you up on cold, frosty evenings. Spicy clove bud oil stimulates the senses while soy milk powder and organic shea butter create creamy, comforting waters. Luxuriate in comforting toffee soaks with clouds of gold and a touch of luster."

Doesn't it sound lovely? I keep all of my Lush Bath Bombs in my bathroom cabinet whilst I try and find a lovely and wonderful basket to keep them all in (which must be Instagrammable!) and the scent of this bath bomb has lit up the whole cupboard ever since. Yog Nog smells so Christmassey and divine - with scents such as brown sugar, cloves and nutmeg, you can definitely tell that it is inspired by egg nog. Whilst the smell is not overpowering, it is one I wish I could bottle and smell every now and then as a little pick me up.

When dunked under hot water, Yog Nog immediately froths, sending glittery white and yellow shades swirling on top of the water. As it is quite a big bomb, it takes quite a while for it to fully dissolve but once it has finally dissolved it is quite evident that the bath water has turned a bright highlighter-yellow shade which was most unexpected!

I really loved using Yog Nog and whilst I am fully aware that I have many more Lush bath products to use up, I am slightly gutted that I didn't pick any more of the Yog Nog Bath Bombs up. It is definitely worth the 15 minutes it takes to clean the bath out afterwards!

  1. I definitely do not get tired of reading about Lush bath bomb posts regardless if they are Christmas ones! They were definitely my favourite to use but I sadly didn't pick up the Yog Nog one! Next Year! How was this one skin-softening wise? I love it when a bath bomb is not only pretty but makes my skin feel soft too :)! xx
