Whenever one of my favourite bloggers posts a little blog sale, 9 times out of 10 I will always buy something. Most of the time the products are brand new and haven't been used although sometimes they have been used once or twice which I don't mind too much. Of course I would always sterilise the top layer of the product but this is due to my own peace of mind rather than anything else.
Heather at Of Beauty And Nothingness recently held a sale on her blog and I couldn't resist buying a few little things. Out of all of the items I bought, I was most ecstatic about buying the MAC Paint Pot in Painterly as you all know how much I love it and I have very nearly finished my pot and needed to repurchase. I think she was selling it for £2 rather than the original price of £16.00 and whilst it has been used very slightly, I know how long-lasting a pot is so it will last me a very long time!
I also bought a small travel-size bottle of the Philosophy Snow Angel Shampoo, Shower Gel & Bubble Bath. I recently wrote about how much I love travel-size products so I am really looking forward to trying this. I love the Philosophy Purity Cleanser and if it Snow Angel smells as amazing as Purity then I am sure I will love it!
The other few products I purchased was a couple of other make-up bits; A MAC 242SE Travel Eyeshadow Brush and a mini Laura Mercier Eye Basics in Wheat. I haven't tried the latter yet but it has a doe foot applicator which will be interesting to try out on the eyelids. Wheat is a really nice neutral beige so I am sure it will be nice to wear on its own as well as with another eyeshadow on top. Heather also really kindly included the Essence Lip Liner in Soft Berry which I can imagine me wearing on it's own as it is a lovely deep berry red.
