Review // Makeup Revolution Pro Cleanse Brush Tool

When I opened my stocking on Christmas morning and saw this little beauty in there, I was so excited. I have wanted a brush egg for a while now and was actually going to buy myself one before Christmas so this little gift was definitely well received.

Let's be honest, washing make-up brushes is a real chore. Depending on how many brushes you have to wash, and how often you want to wash them, it can take a fair while. Plus, it can make your hands go all wrinkly and I hate that. Whilst I don't absolutely hate washing my make-up brushes, it is a task I really have to force myself to do. Luckily, I now have the Makeup Revolution Pro Cleanse Brush Tool.

About the Makeup Revolution Pro Cleanse Brush Tool:
"This unique brush cleaning tool is perfect for cleaning your brushes in an easy and effective way."

How to use the Makeup Revolution Pro Cleanse Brush Tool:
"Place the Brush Tool on the 1st and second finger. Place cleanser into the middle of the ridged part of the cleanse tool. Agitate the brush on the grooves under lukewarm water until fully clean."

To put it simply - I love this and I don't want to ever live without it. It more than halved the time it took me to clean all of my make-up brushes and it made the whole process so much easier with much less hassle. Before, I used to squeeze a small spot of baby shampoo in the centre of the bristles, massaged it a bit, ran it under hot water then repeated the process 2 or 3 times to ensure the brush was completely clean. Do this to every brush, say 15 or so, then it is definitely a time consuming task that isn't the most riveting - although it is quite nice watching all of the makeup run out of the brush.

Instead, with this little beauty, all you have to do is pop the brush tool onto your fingers, squeeze some brush cleaner/baby shampoo onto the centre of the tool then move the brush around a bit to get the cleaner into all of the bristles then run under hot water. I only needed to do this once for each brush and the best bit? It took seconds and my brushes appeared cleaner than before when I used to spend an hour stood at the sink.

Whilst I cannot speak highly of this product enough, the one small downside is that I found the tool slightly uncomfortable to wear after a while but that's it. Definitely well worth the discomfort and definitely worth every penny!
