Recent Purchases // The Black Pointed Toe Boot

I have a slight boot addiction. I have about 20 pairs of black boots, all varying in texture, heel and height. Knowing that I own 20 pairs of black boots does not bother me in the slightest. The more the merrier, I say. Which is why I recently bought a new pair. And they are definitely nothing like the boots I already own. Definitely not.

For these have a pointed toe. They are made out of soft leather with a beautiful suede panel at the back of the boot with a lovely block heel. What made me buy these boots was the pointed toe. I like my boots with a rounded toe and I believe the chunkier they are, the better but these boots are very much unlike anything in my current shoe collection.

I always wondered how ladies wore pointed shoes. Surely their feet would hurt and their toes will be squashed to death? Well they are actually surprisingly comfortable to wear, although I obviously didn't buy these for the comfort - if I wanted comfort I would have bought a pair of Crocs. Oh no, I bought these purely for the look.

I feel like a proper grown up wearing these boots. Isn't it funny how a pair of shoes can change the way you feel about yourself? Shop the look below!

  3. New Look are such a winner for me when it comes to boots - I've been eyeing up some knee length brown boots in there for a while ... to go with my either four pairs of brown boots (whoops!)

  4. ooh I've been wanting a pair of these boots for ages but couldnt find them anywhere in my price range. Think a pointed shoe is so much more feminine. Lovely :)

  5. These are gorgeous boots. I have a total boot obsession too, every time I'm like I don't need another pair then just end up with them! x
