Other // What I Got For Christmas

I can't believe how long ago Christmas was! Okay, so it was only 2 weeks ago but it feels so much longer than that. I am a massive fan of Christmas and I always feel really sad and depressed when it is all over, especially when you have to take all of the decorations down. Saying that, I have promised myself that when I have my own home and live on my own, I will have my Christmas tree up all year round. I will just change the decorations every season so I don't get bored of looking at it.

Anyway, like everyone else, I too love reading 'What I Got For Christmas' posts so I thought I would choose a few gifts I received to show you guys!

My "main" present was the bloggers fave, the Olympus Pen E-PL7 with the Pancake Zoom. I knew I was getting this as I ordered it online using Lydia Elise Millen's discount code which you can find more about here. I cannot tell you how much I love this camera! I am still slowly trying to get the most out of it and try and work out how to use all of the functions but I really am so pleased with it. I will probably do a post on it soon but I can't believe how clear and crisp my photos are now. The top photo was taken on my old camera and the bottom photo was taken with the Olympus Pen E-PL7 but I think you can see an immediate difference between the photos. I am finding that all colour shades on the Olympus are very vivid so I have to tone them down slightly but at the moment I am just trying to figure out which functions will work best with my needs.

I also received Caroline Flack's autobiography which I am really looking forward to reading, as well as One Direction's new CD which has gone straight in my car so I can finally enjoy the drive to work again!

Onto the most important bit - the beauty! I received the Victoria's Secret Body Mist in Mango Temptation which I am really looking forward to trying. I own so many Victoria's Secret Body Mists already as I love them so much so this one is no different. Speaking of Victoria's Secret, I also received my favourite Victoria's Secret Bombshell Perfume in Rollerball form which has gone straight into my handbag for on the go. I also received another perfume - are people trying to tell me something??! - which is the Next Just Pink Perfume and goodness me, it's a good'un.

I then received the Makeup Revolution Ultra Professional Blush Palette in Golden Sugar which I'm looking forward to trying, as well as the B.Sculpted Blush & Highlight Stick, MAC Eyeshadow in Satin Taupe, Bourjois Colorblend Ombre Eyeshadow & Liner in Rose Fauviste and the Natural Collection Solo Eyeshadow in Butterscotch which I have tried already and I'm in love with. I also recieved the Makeup Revolution Pro Brush Cleanse Tool and the Nspa Cherry Body Scrub which smells incredible.

Santa was very good to me this year, I must have been very well behaved! What did you get for Christmas this year?

  6. You got some really lovely presents here. I kind of wish I had got an Olympus Pen as they're just such good cameras, you can definitely see the difference here. However I don't think I could justify the need for another camera....
