Websites // Save On Make Up

As you can probably guess, I love make-up. Long before I started this blog, which was actually many years ago, I had an interest in make-up. Although those were the days when I thought high-end was Rimmel London and my make-up staples were the Rimmel Kohl Pencil and the Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse Foundation. What I'm trying to say is, I knew no better, And why would I? I didn't have much pocket money to spend on make-up. My budget stretched to Rimmel, Natural Collection and Miss Sporty. I used to walk past the beauty counters in awe and stare at all of the pretty make-up the beautifully made up counter girls tried to force upon me but I didn't dare, I knew I couldn't afford it.

I recently had the opportunity to collaborate with a website called Save On Make Up via The Blogger Programme. Save On Make Up is a website that allows you to buy drugstore and high end make-up at discounted prices, meaning that £20 pocket money of mine as a teen would have stretched much further and would have allowed me to try out more high end brands that I so desperately wanted to try. Save On Make Up sells brands such as MAC, Benefit, BareMinerals, Too Faced, Urban Decay and so much more at incredibly affordable prices. They always have great deals on make-up products, make-up tools and brushes and even skincare.

When I had the opportunity to collaborate with Save On Make Up via The Blogger Programme, I was very kindly allowed to choose a couple of items to feature on my blog. It took me quite a while to decide what I wanted. To begin with I thought I would choose the Bare Minerals Heavenly Face Brush which, at £5.66, is very much a bargain when it was originally £19.00. I thought it would be ideal for applying setting powders or bronzers. I then saw that they had the Urban Decay Primer Potion on their website for £12.99 which I got very excited by as I have always wanted to try it! But then I saw the BareMinerals The Finer Things Eyeshadow Palette*. Just look at it! How pretty! At £16.99, it is so much more affordable than the £29.00 price tag it retails at originally. I have a review written up for this gorgeous palette already and I can confirm it is but a dream!

I also chose the Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain in Cherish* which is an unbelievably pretty and wearable lip stain that is perfect for everyday. At £2.77 it is a bit of dream. I have a couple of Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stains and I absolutely adore them so it is nice to add another to the ever-growing collection.

Overall, I am completely impressed with Save On Make Up and I only wish I had a website like this to turn to when I was younger. There is no reason for us not to buy higher end make-up products when they are so affordable! For that reason, I find myself eyeing up the beautiful Dior nail polish I have just spotted on the website..
