Review: Seventeen Instant Glow Shimmer Brick in Pink Bronze

This is one of those products that I have wanted for a very, very long time. Around Christmas time I kept hinting for someone to buy it for me and unfortunately everyone I know can't seem to take a hint so on a recent shopping trip to Boots, I finally caved in. Available in two different shades, Pink Bronze and Gold Bronze, the Seventeen Instant Glow Shimmer Bricks are made up of 4 different individual shades of pink (or gold, depending on which you on buy) which you can either use on their own as eyeshadows or you can swirl all 4 colours together to make up a fabulously subtle, pink toned highlighter.

What Seventeen say about their Instant Glow Shimmer Bricks:
"Four layers of bronzed colours work together to give you the ultimate glow appeal. Dust on a mix of the colours with the Seventeen Shimmer Brush, then use individual shades to contour and highlight. Mix it up with the beautiful pink bronze, or deep golden bronze."

The Shimmer Bricks are encased in a sturdy plastic packaging which, as sturdy as it does feel, I wouldn't like to drop it to find out how sturdy it actually is! All 4 individual shades are truly beautiful in the pan and on the skin but when swirled together you get a very pretty, soft, subtle, pink highlight which looks great on the cheekbones. All 4 shades also look lovely as eyeshadows, especially the deep pink. I applied my trusty MAC Paint Pot in Painterly as a primer then applied the dark pink all over the eyelid as a base and although I got a very small amount of glitter fall out, I thought it worked really well as an eyeshadow. I found that it lasted about 6 hours without creasing or fading away which is really good considering they aren't really supposed to be eye products.

Overall, a gorgeous 5 in 1 product which has multi-purposes. Pink Bronze looks lovely as a highlight on the cheekbones when swirled together but when using the product individually as eyeshadows, the results are lovely. For £4.99 it's a definite bargain.
