Review // Rimmel London Space Dust Nail Varnish in Aurora

I kept on seeing reviews for Rimmel's Space Dust Nail Varnishes online and as much as I tried to resist them, I didn't want to go without so I bought one. Like I need another nail varnish I hear you (and my Mum) cry but hey, it's so pretty and I'm certain I haven't got one like this already. Perhaps. Maybe.

If you haven't heard of Rimmel Space Dust Nail Varnishes before then they are texturised nail varnishes that are available in 5 different colours. Some have likened them to sand nail varnishes and I can see why as they are very gritty and finely milled.  I bought Aurora which is a beautiful muted matte pink base with chunky pieces of silver glitter throughout. It is very, very pretty, perfect for when you want a glittery nail but don't want too much of it.

I found that the formula for Aurora was a little sheer to start off with but when applied generously and layered up it looked stunning. It didn't feel too gritty on the nails but I applied a top coat to help prevent any wear and tear. Annoyingly I found that it chipped within a couple of days which was disappointing but I don't mind re-applying. It's too pretty not to!
