Review: Rimmel London Soft Kohl Kajal Eye Pencil in White

Rimmel London Soft Kohl Kajal Eye Pencil - £2.99
We all have make-up disasters, right? Let me share mine with you. When I was younger and at secondary school, I used to spend all of my pocket money on Rimmel London Eye Pencils. I would buy every colour. And I mean every colour.

I used to sport dark green, light purple, teal, denim blue.. I even once left the house wearing just white eyeliner, under the eyes AND on the eyelid. Not my finest moment and I thank the lord that there are no photos of this. Which leads me to now. I haven't bought an eye pencil since leaving school so when I decided that I needed a little something to brighten up the eyes to perk up my everyday make-up, I decided to turn back to an old friend, Rimmel.

I intended on buying the Rimmel London Scandal Eyes Waterproof Kohl Liner in Nude to use under the eyes in hope of brightening them but Boots didn't have any unused pencils so I decided to buy Rimmel's Soft Kohl Kajal Eye Pencil in White, which really is white.

Now, I know white eye pencil can be quite stark, especially used completely under the eyes so I bought it purposefully for the use of the inside of my eyes just to brighten them up a little bit. I think it is probably best to blend it out a little after use, just to ensure it doesn't stand out too much and to make sure it doesn't look too stark. A white shimmery eyeshadow in the corner of the eye can look just as nice.

Overall I'm really glad I re-discovered the Rimmel Kohl Eye Pencils. I find the black kohl pencil to transfer when applied on the eyelid which is really annoying but luckily none of that happens with the white kohl pencil, it stays put all day and doesn't budge.
