Review: Rimmel London Stay Matte Pressed Powder in Transparent

Rimmel London Stay Matte Pressed Powder - £3.99
A very quick review on an already much loved, hyped about product. Recently I've noticed that throughout the day my skin starts to get a bit oily and whilst blotting pads are great, I find that in the process they take off some of my foundation which is a little annoying.

To rectify this I went to Boots on the hunt for a matte powder to apply over the top of my foundation and ending up buying the Rimmel London Stay Matte Pressed Powder in the shade Transparent. There are 6 different shades to choose from so hopefully you'll be able to find a colour to suit you although there doesn't seem to be any darker shades to choose from which is a shame.

What Rimmel say about this product:
- Up to 5 hours natural shine control with natural minerals.
- Helps minimize the appearance of pores.

When my face is looking lovely and shiny I like to apply this using my ELF Powder Brush (review here) and swipe it over my problem areas. It takes zero effort and is a godsend! I found that I don't have to apply too much to get a matte finish but I did find that it wore off over a couple of hours so re-applying throughout the day is a given. I didn't find that it minimized pores but as I don't have too much of a problem in that area it wasn't something I really took much notice of. Overall it's a fantastic product and it truly deserves the hype.
