Review: Revlon Color Burst Lip Butter in Macaroon

Revlon Color Burst Lip Butter - £7.99
A while ago I won a Revlon Lip Butter via the Revlon Facebook page and I was very lucky to win the shade Macaroon.

Macaroon is a lovely red dusty pink. It's the kind of shade that you could wear all year round and it is the most perfect neutral, easy-wearing lip shade.

Like all of the other Revlon Lip Butters, Macaroon applies so easily, is highly moisturizing and the colour packs a punch. It's so opaque that it only takes one quick swipe on the lips and you needn't worry about trying to build the colour up. It lasts around 2-3 hours on the lips but as they're so easy to apply it doesn't matter if you have to re-apply throughout the day.

As the colour is so opaque and you don't need to apply much to get a good colour pay off. I imagine these Revlon Lip Butters would last a while, depending on how many times you use it obviously. Though saying that, if you wind the lipstick up to see all of the product, there doesn't seem that much product in there but as they are so pigmented it might not be the end of the world. Another fab point these Revlon Lip Butters have is that they don't show up any dry areas on the lips either - hooray!

Revlon have these Lip Butters in such a variety of shades that if this isn't your colour, I'm sure you'll find one in the range which will suit to your tastes.

  1. I got this shade too. It's super flattering.... Looks great on you. :)

  2. Been looking for a good lipstick for YEARS. I find that nothing suits my very pale skin tone, but after this swatch I've found it! :) Thank you loads x
