Review: MAC Powder Blush in Harmony

I've been after the MAC Powder Blush in Harmony for a very long time. Unfortunately I don't live near a MAC store so have never purchased it myself but fortunately for me, my sister bought me one back from New York as a Christmas present.

Harmony is described as a muted rose-beige brown on the MAC website which translates in plain English as a lovely, neutral dark beige/rosy light brown. You can either choose to use this product as a blush, a bronzer or for contouring. I have been using this as both a blusher and as a contour and I love it for both tasks.

Harmony is matte so if you wanted to buy it for contouring purposes you can do so without fear of having shimmery particles on your face. I've never used a MAC Blusher before but I was surprised to see that it's soft and easy to apply and as it is so pigmented, a little goes a long way so it will last you a while.

I've worn this blusher every day since Boxing Day and I can't get enough of it. It's perfect for when you've had enough of having pink rosy cheeks and want to go for a neutral toned blusher instead and it lasts all day on the skin too.

  1. This looks like a really nice and neutral blush! I'm in love with mac blushers and its a shame theres not a store near you, hun! O yeah, and they're pretty pricey too!

    1. I know! :( Very pricey at £17.50 but as you use so little it's worth it! (Listen to me trying to justify the price! Ha) xx

  2. wow this looks quite good as a blush! every time I see it in MAC I always think of it as a contour and nothing else but sometimes a more neutral look on the cheek instead of a rosy pink or a shimmer can really work! woohoo! xxx

    1. Exactly! I'd have never have picked up a brown shade like this for blusher normally but I'm so glad I got it as it's something different rather than a pink or a coral!x
