Review // Avon Nailwear Pro Nail Varnish in Viva Pink

Avon Nailwear Pro Nail Varnish - £2.49
A while ago I was on the hunt for a really girlie pink nail varnish so when I saw the Avon Nailwear Pro Nail Varnish in Viva Pink, I bought it thinking it was the girlie pink I lusted for.

Sadly it wasn't actually what I expected colour-wise. I did want a Barbie pink but this is more of a dark pink/magenta and it actually took me quite a while to like it but eventually it has grown on me.
Products used were:
- Sally Hansen Double Duty
- Avon Nailwear Pro in Viva Pink
- 17 Lasting Fix Nail Polish in Mini Skirt
- Seche Vite Top Coat

It took one coat of Viva Pink to get an opaque colour but due to habit I applied two. It didn't take too long drying either - quick enough to ensure I didn't smudge!

This is a colour that I, personally, could get bored of quite easily so I chose to jazz it up a little and applied the 17 Lasting Fix Nail Polish in Mini Skirt as an accent nail and used a long nail art brush (link here) to help create some pink stripes on top. On my other hand I chose to do a few white spots using the tip of the nail varnish brush.

I found that this chipped within 24 hours of me applying it. I did use Seche Vite which everyone raves about but I am actually starting to wonder if I have just water in my bottle as it doesn't seem to prevent chipping at all. I did buy it off a highly recommended seller off of eBay but still, it ain't doing anything for me!
