Review // Rimmel London Colour Mousse Eyeshadow in Sassy

Rimmel London Colour Mousse - £4.00
This product has been much favoured by me for quite a while now. It is a staple in my make-up bag and as you can tell from the photos, it has been well used.

Rimmel London Colour Mousse Eyeshadows are a cool, gel like mousse. The shade I have is called Sassy. Sassy is a gorgeous shimmery taupe with purple undertones - the perfect everyday shade.

Once applied it feels very cold on the skin and it dries almost instantly, which is great as it doesn't budge. It is easily blended and incredibly easy to apply with your fingers. The mousse formula wears like a powder eyeshadow but applies like a cream. It doesn't feel heavy on on the skin as it's incredibly lightweight and you don't need to use a lot as a little goes a very long way. I've had my pot for ages and I have barely made a start.

The packaging on states that it lasts for 8 hours and it's a very true claim. I've been wearing Sassy from 10AM this morning and it's still going strong, 10 hours later. It's still maintaining it's glistening high-pigmented colour and none of it has faded away - perfect!

I'd say this was a dupe for 17's Wild Metallic Eyes in Wild Nude apart from Wild Nude has more brown undertones than purple. Nonetheless, the whole range of Rimmel London's Colour Mousses are dead ringers for 17's Wild Metallic Eyes range and MAC's Glitter and Ice Paint Pots.

These Colour Mousses are available in 8 other lovely shades.. which shades do you prefer?
